Tatiana Camacho is a self-taught Colombian photographer that speaks through color, light and skin. Her pictures seduce us into deep reflections on the feminine with their soft beauty. Camacho left the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York in 2012 conflicted by the ways in which women were represented in fashion. As a photographer, she has sought to capture the many ways in which the feminine speaks in order to add more layers to a monotone conversation in art and fashion. Although Camacho does not believe in radical feminism—men and women are not the same—her work expresses our need to be in touch with the power of the feminine as counterpoint to the power of the masculine. She is currently based in Mexico City.
Tatiana’s work moves through the genres of fashion, portrait and landscape photography.
